Hollyoaks is a British television soap opera, first broadcast on 23 October 1995, on Channel 4. The show attracts an average of 3 million viewers per week.
Hollyoaks is set in the fictional borough of Hollyoaks in Chester. It takes a mundane look at the lives, loves and careers of a group of teenage friends and their families as they graduate through GCSE's, A-Levels and College into the world of work.
